Welcome! My name is Haley and I am a not-born-but-raised Arizonian (yes, it truly is a dry heat...). I am a wife and mother to 3. I recognized my passion for fertility awareness when I began noticing issues with my own fertility cycle as a late teen. After having horrible side effects on the pill, I wanted something that would actually treat the underlying issues I was facing, rather than placing a band aid on the problem (and giving me horrible mood swings!). In conjunction with an OBGYN, I learned how to chart my cycle to manage my health. Because of this journey, I was later able to conceive my three amazing kiddos.
I am passionate about women's health and want something more for you than just what the doctor is prescribing (probably the pill...). I want you to take control of your reproductive health, give you tools to monitor your cycle (hello charting!!), and be empowered to intentionally discern your family planning decisions.
I am a trained FertilityCare Practitioner in the Creighton Model System of charting.
YES! The bulk of my clients are online clients. Everything can be done virtually.
I am an approved NFP instructor for the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix and will teach the course according to the marriage prep requirements. If you are outside the Diocese of Phoenix, you may have your marriage prep coordinator reach out to me to inquire!
I am a FertilityCare Practitioner in the Creighton method of Natural Family Planning. I do not hold a medical degree. I am trained to identify hormonal imbalances revealed on a fertility chart, in which case I would refer my client to their nearest Medical Consultant in the Creighton method.
No. The beautiful thing about Natural Family Planning and charting your cycle is that it is fully based on scientific research. NFP methods have up to a 99% effectiveness rate to avoid pregnancy. The use of any non-hormonal contraception (i.e. condom) with NFP significantly decreases that effectiveness rate. Additionally, hormonal contraception is very harmful to a woman's body and any type of contraception will be a detriment to a marriage (read this article to learn more!).
No. It's important to know that infertility is not a diagnosis in and of itself, but a symptom of some underlying issue. Often when a couple is struggling to become pregnant, there is a biological/hormonal reason. By learning how to chart the cycle, we may be able to see hormonal imbalances reflected on your fertility chart that could be causing infertility. The Creighton Model is intertwined with NaProTechnology, a field of women's health that looks to heal the root of the issue, rather than placing a band aid or trying to steer around it. By getting the biological problem healed, this gives the couple a much better chance of getting pregnant.
Yes! I teach both single women and married couples. I believe every woman has the right to know how her body is designed. For both single and married women, charting the menstrual cycle is a necessary tool for reproductive health management.
Truth and Fertility mainly focuses on the Creighton Method, as this is the best method to locate any hormonal imbalances and receive treatment if necessary. I do, however, offer the Sympto-Thermal method upon request. I am a fully certified SymptoPro instructor.
